Record keeping among high school athletics in Montana is an inexact science. In fact, there’s little scientific about it. Often times outstanding performances get lost in the fray and are never reported or officially recognized in the Montana High School Association record book.
Such was the case for a boys’ basketball game played 15 years ago.
Missoula Hellgate is in the running for Best Boys Basketball Program of 2015 in a poll conducted by the USA Today and the Knights have already made the regional round.
That makes Montana’s State AA front-runner one of the top seven programs in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Idaho and Wyoming — but they need your help to reach the national finals.

Back in early December, Corvallis prospect Jesse Sims de-committed from Oregon State, University where he had planned to play college football, after head coach Mike Riley left for Nebraska.
Almost six weeks later, he’s coming closer to making a decision — again — to where he will take his football talents. But not quite yet.
