Results are in for the Knight River Run 5k and surprise, surprise, a Knight won it.
Missoula Hellgate junior Adam Peterman covered the 3.1-mile course in 16 minutes even, according to the results found on 406running.com, while Phil Keller came in second at 16:10.
The Knight River Run is a fundraiser to help defray the costs of re-surfacing the dirt track at John Toole Park, also commonly called “the River Bowl,” which is jointly-owned by the city and the Missoula School District.
I wrote about this race last week, and then went out and ran in it. Spoiler alert: I just missed finishing in the top 25, losing to the entire Ruby household in the process.
