Construction work has forced the move of the 67th Montana East-West Shrine Game to Butte’s historic Naranche Stadium, West team coordinator Jeff Hartwick announced Wednesday.
“We’re very excited to play in Naranche Stadium,” Hartwick told ButteSports.com Wednesday. “It’s going to be a good experience for everybody involved.”
The game, which was played in Butte at East Middle School’s Bulldog Memorial Stadium three years ago, was scheduled to be back there when the game came to town July 20. Delays in work being done on the stands forced the move to an alternate location. Continue reading
