Four times the Missoula Sentinel football team kicked off in Friday’s victory over Billings Skyview. Three times the ball sailed into the end zone.
That other boot? Well Skyview fielded that one from the 1-yard line. The Falcons made it all the way the 24 to start that possession.
Gabe Peppenger didn’t stop the run and he didn’t score any touchdowns Friday, but he certainly played a big role in the Spartans earning their first win of the season.
UPDATE: We’ve gotten a few more additions to this listing after posting it on Facebook a week ago. Here’s the most updated list with another half dozen or so names tacked on. Let’s see if we can add any more.
With fall camps just around the corner, the Missoulian is trying to keep track of all our area graduates that have moved on to play college football. So far we’ve got a pretty basic list put together with 42 western Montana football players who have committed with a college program.
Don’t see your kid on the list? You know of someone else we’re missing?
We’ll add them as soon as we can. Send any omissions to firstname.lastname@example.org or get ahold of me via Twitter at twitter.com/ajmazzolini. Remember this list only spans western Montana within the Missoulian’s coverage area.
