It’s national signing day 2015 and the National Letters of Intent were flying around this morning with local athletes securing their spots with college football programs.
We’ll keep you updated with the area players who have made their commitments known throughout the day. Here’s a quick look at what we have so far.

Libby and Anaconda both opted to drop from Class A to B starting in the 2015-16 school year. But against whom and in what district would the newly minted B schools play?
The Montana High School Association answered that question Thursday by placing the Loggers in District 7-B and the Copperheads in District 6-B, for most sports at least, as well as finding Plentywood a home at the Class C ranks.

A light drizzle at kickoff verged on a steady rain by halftime which became some serious precipitation at the dawn of the fourth quarter when the Superior Bobcats hosted Broadview-Lavina in a Class C 8-man football playoff game Saturday.
Such conditions can be disastrous for a team that likes to put the game in motion with passes deep down the field, but Broadview-Lavina dared the Bobcats to beat them through the air.
Despite the likelihood of slippery footballs and errant passes, quarterback Wyatt Zylawy and Superior did just that.
Montana high school track and field leaders, plus class leaders, compiled from daily newspapers through May 11 by Fritz Neighbor of the Missoulian. Times for races of 400 meters or less are in hundredths, where known; times for longer races are rounded up to the nearest tenth.
